FAMILY IS A GIFT FROM GOD

Carol Pepe is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, moving to San Francisco in 1985, and has lived in Rossmoor since 2009.  After founding Medi-Scribe in the mid-1980's, Carol had a successful career in Medical Transcription for 30+ years.  Carol realized her dream of becoming a REALTOR after she passed the California real estate examination on October 4, 2016.  She then joined the Rossmoor Office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Drysdale Properties, on December 1, 2016.

Carol says, "I am blessed to have had three beautiful, strong-minded women in my life," crediting her mother and her two grandmothers for her gifts for tenacity and self-reliance.  Elsie, her "Mom" was one of eight children.  With only a GED,  Elsie reached management level at the Federal Reserve Bank in Philadelphia.  Carol's maternal grandmother, Lillian, widowed at an early age, supported her large family of eight by working in a sewing factory, allowing one of Carol's uncles, "Carlo," to  earn a degree in Computer Science and become one of Sun Microsystem's team of early successful programmers.  Carol's paternal grandmother, "Rose," took on volunteer work at a local senior center, while apparently tirelessly still caring for her large family of six.

Growing up in a family of amazing Italian cooks, Carol learned many culinary skills.  A client once remarked that they "would stand in a long line for a long time" for one of Carol's homemade pizza pies!  Another client left a lengthy voicemail thanking her profusely for a home-cooked apple-cranberry pie.

Carol is hard at work in her real estate career, but still finds time for many Rossmoor activities, including her favorites - Ballroom Dancing and Tennis.
